Established in 1986, the Blue Ridge Retriever Club, Inc. is an organization of dedicated retriever
enthusiasts.

We are excited that you are visiting our web site. Our club aims to provide programs and
facilities for the training of retrievers, and to improve and develop individuals as retriever trainers.
The Blue Ridge
Retriever Club conducts events in accordance with the American Kennel Club. We conduct informal training sessions in the off-season, host educational seminars, and sponsor
AKC Field Trials and Hunting Tests (we are a member of the Master National). We invite your interest
and inquiry.
AFC Contrails Bird Strike, MH owned by Dave Opseth is qualified for the 2010
National Amateur! Congratulations.
AFC
Gray's Creek Skeeter Boo, owned by Jerry and Debbie Wilks and handled by Jerry, will also be going to the Nationals! Contratulations!

Welcome to a new outdoor season!
Blue Ridge Retriever Club spring
trial is complete and placements are posted on Entry Express and club placements on the brag page.
Our sincere thanks
to Steve and Patsy Ferguson for the use of their beautiful grounds. A special thanks to the Brinks Hunt Club for providing
excellent meals and workers for the trial. As always, our own club members worked hard to guarantee participants a well run
trial. We had excellent judges that set up super tests for the competition. We thank them for giving up their weekend to help
us out.
The date of our fall trial will be the weekend of October 15th. That will also be posted
on Entry Express.
As always, we welcome you to our events and hope that if you can't enter,
you will come and cheer on your friends.
Our Hunt test will be in September 25th and that also will be posted
when we have the final plans set. We hope you will participate in one or all of our events.
